Where would you go?

All my life I have always had a passion for traveling. Car, plane, bus, or train. I wanted to do it all. Every summer my mom would take by older brother and I to Houston by my aunt for vacation. We would go to Six Flags, go swimming, and go to IHOP so much that it became a tradition. Growing up I wanted to do the same for my future kids. No matter what we were going through my mom always made sure that my brother and i had a childhood. I’m the mother I am today because of my mom and her strength and dedication to her children.

As I got older and had a child of my own I found out fist hand what my mom went through with the both of us. Especially being a “sickly” child with Type 1 Diabetes since the age of 4. In my recent years my father became a bigger, prominent, part in mine and my sons’ life. Our bond grew as we worked through our differences and became a team in in the journey called “my life”. He taught me so many things to get closer to him and even closer to Christ. Thank you daddy. There truly are no words to express the gratitude and honor i have for you, still. Rest In Paradise Pa Pa Bear.

Now that my son is grown and my father had moved on to be with our Father, I have the chance to travel like I’ve always dreamed of. Maybe I’ll get an RV, pack up my pets, and hit the road. Maybe I’ll just stick to my plan and move to my sisters’ until I get a place of my own in Federal Way, WA. Either way, this is just the beginning. A New Beginning. I know where I’m going, what about you? Where would you go if you had the chance?
